3D Printing Drone - UT Autonomous Group

For this project, I designed and modeled a 3D-printed hexacopter drone using Fusion 360 to simulate and estimate its inertial dynamics. This process involved creating a detailed model to understand how the drone's weight distribution and movement would impact its performance during flight. Additionally, I developed a MATLAB algorithm to analyze the drone's flight path by extracting edge points from .gcode files, which are typically used for 3D printing instructions. This algorithm allowed for the precise mapping of the drone's flight trajectory based on its structure, ensuring optimized navigation and stability during operation.
